cute little helper

quilter2theend 04-24-2011 05:08 AM

I agree with KathyAire, good lesson to learn!

pkelly1947 04-24-2011 05:22 AM

Been there & my schnoodle has done that!

Fabaddict 04-24-2011 05:27 AM

and she looks so innocent. LOL

Yooper32 04-24-2011 05:32 AM

I don't know, she looks just a titch defiant to me. I would hide all thread, just in case.

vickimc 04-24-2011 05:43 AM

I laughed when I saw it was a Yorkie. I have 2 Yorkies, one 11 and the other 1. the 1 yr old loves spools of thread. and he loves to pull stuffing out of things, any thing. I have several spools like that.

littlehud 04-24-2011 05:48 AM

What a darling fur baby. I have had a few spools end up looking like that. I'm sure my dear little puppy didn't have a thing to do with it. LOL

nabobw 04-24-2011 05:48 AM

Suzie is cute and had a good time

grma33 04-24-2011 06:08 AM

What sweetheart! Can`t wait to see her.
Just go buy some more thread!
Gale

theresa.redington 04-24-2011 06:19 AM

Yeap! I had this happen to me. I'm still using the spool of thread for hand piecing after I could get to the spool after wasted threads are removed.

drw1mjw2 04-24-2011 07:25 AM

This morning I was layering a quilt with the help of my two pugs. Had to have help from my DH because the girls were tugging and biting on it. I need a babysitter for them when I do this. We are so lucky to have help like this. :)

j 04-24-2011 07:37 AM

I enjoy stories like this because we have a motivated pet who does the same things, I couldn't find a spool of thread and shook out her bed to straighten it up and there was a chewed up spool, I had already gone out to buy the color again because I couldn't find what I had done with it.-J

Tweety2911 04-24-2011 08:11 AM

Sweet innocent baby and so adorable!

the casual quilter 04-24-2011 09:03 AM

It sounds like this jury finds her "not guilty"!

mimee4 04-24-2011 09:14 AM

How can you blame that adorable face with doing such as that?

Stitchit123 04-24-2011 09:22 AM

It was the neighbors cat not Suzie But Suzie would look so pretty in green

Linda - K. 04-24-2011 09:24 AM

I had that happen with my cat years ago (she passed away from kidney failure and I miss her!) Your Suzie looks so innocent and has that "I didn't do it!" look. So funny.

linda701 04-24-2011 09:34 AM

That dog is adorable but can be mischeivious.I have a dog that loves to chew on thread and fabric.

nativetexan 04-24-2011 10:38 AM

i hope you got all the thread back. even if it was in bad shape. thread can kill.
cute puppy though!

Katz13203 04-24-2011 12:41 PM

Not me mommy, I didn't do anything. That's what it looked like when I took it. :)

karenchi 04-24-2011 12:51 PM

What a cutie....you can tell she didn't mean to do it..

But, a word of caution.....Thread is very dangerous to animals. Everyone, please be careful.

Larue Bonnoni 04-24-2011 01:09 PM

LOL my yorkie has done the same thing, then they come into the room and look so innocent with those big eyes. You just have to love them

Ziva 04-24-2011 01:21 PM

Bet she had a good time with her new toy. She is sooo cute!!

hazbas 04-24-2011 01:26 PM

I have thread just like that! My culprit is a sheltie.

penski 04-24-2011 02:55 PM

hahaha on you

QuiltNama 04-24-2011 03:07 PM

But Mama I was only trying to help, you looked like you were having so much fun. She sure is a little cutie.
Brenda

Debbie B 04-24-2011 03:14 PM

In the picture Suzie looks like she's saying, "Who me?". She's very cute.

MaryAnna 04-24-2011 03:16 PM

She doesn't look guilty to me.... ;)
Blessings,
MaryAnna

ajohn52 04-24-2011 04:07 PM

She looks too sweet to have done that bad trick. Buy her some more chew toys Mom.

GramaLaura 04-24-2011 06:21 PM

Cute pup! I have 2 yorkies......wonderful dogs. My little one is always at my side....sleeps under my sewing machine when I sew :-D

Bubblegum0077 04-24-2011 07:32 PM

Just be glad it wasn't GUM she got. And yes, the dog in my avatar got hold of my granddaughter's gum and ....well I think you can guess what happened.

HeatherS 04-24-2011 08:52 PM

"I did a good job Mum, didn't I???"

snicktrain 04-24-2011 10:42 PM

She is a cutie. :-D Just PLEASE make sure she doesn't eat it. It can be very dangerous. The thread can get wrapped around her intestine and do a lot of harm. Cats too. Love 'em too much to see something like that happen. ;)

betsey 04-25-2011 02:37 AM

Hahahaha! Too funny, and your dog us so cute

Grandma Peg 04-25-2011 03:31 AM

Are you sure she did it and the spool just didn't fall? LOL

QuiltMom2 04-25-2011 04:23 AM

You must be mistaken! That dog couldn't possibly have stolen that spool of thread!! It was a quilt gremlin and the dog just tied to apprehend the culprit!

ns 04-25-2011 05:57 AM

Looks like she was having some fun.

Victoria L 04-25-2011 08:43 AM

She was just helping. My fur baby loves to take ribbon when I'm wrapping presnts and I have to keep my sweing basket shut so she doesn't help herself to spools of thread. I love her! :)

tntgranny 04-25-2011 11:18 AM

My dogs will find a ball of yarn, spool of thread or skein of floss that is buried soooo deep in a bag. One of them even managed to push a partially open zipper to get to them. How they are able to smell them in a closed bag I cannot figure out.

NCquilter 04-25-2011 12:15 PM

Suzie said it was her evil twin. lol
