That's why you can't find anything on Craigslist around Houston....it's always overpriced...and seldom anything listed that's worth anything...

oh well- i have mine- and she can just keep her's in her garage for ever ;)

I love it, that made me laugh. Good for you. I would have loved to have been there. I see them on eBay all the time asking an ungodly price for these old machines. I guess there is someone out there who will buy but not me.

I'm not an Art Major but that looks a lot like the back door at the local watering hole at the end of a rowdy Saturday night-

It reminds me of something I heard " Just because its old , doesn't make it valuable".

My DH got mine in an Antique store 20+ yrs ago-he paid $60 for it and it came with the drawers all matching and the belt plus the key for the drawers and the wood puzzle box with all the attachments.And I thought he paid to much.Theres one sitting in a 2nd hand store here and she's only $40 and she's ready to go and sew.
