I have one!!! This is a pressure foot to make gathers evenly. I used mine all the time when I sewed for my girls.A piece of fabric feeds along the bottom then you can put a piece on top and let the loose forked part of the foot feed in the second fabric ,it will gather and sew down at same tine. The adjustments are the top part with 1- 2 or 3 marked on it .I hope this helps.

could be a ruffle foot but not sure

To me, it looks like a foot that attaches a strip to another piece of fabric while pleating it. Hard to say what kind of machine it's for though. :?:

It is fun to play with, I've used the one for my ol' Singer many times. One little pc of advice, lengthen your stitch a bit, makes it much easier to adjust the gathers..

Thank you guys for all the info. One came with my machine but I have never used it. Now I will as it looks simple enough for even me.

My daughter is grown up and has a son but I do have a grand daughter who also likes ruffles on everything. I had forgotten about my "ruffler", thanks for the reminder.
