Yeppers!!! it is a ruffler/ gatherer.... it is wonderful to make ruffles and pleating... the dial on the side controls the spacing... clean it up and give a polish... it will work great!!! :thumbup:

It is a ruffler. The number on top where we can see "12" is used for the space between ruffles and the lower indicator is for the depth of the ruffle.

A ruffler! Great for making fuffles to attach to curtains.

I use it to gather, as in making a child's full-tail,
gathered skirt. It sure uses a lot of material though.
