isnthatodd 01-08-2011 07:16 PM

We are supposed to have rain and freezing rain tonight and snow, up to 3 inches, tomorrow. Come on, folks. This is Dallas, for pete's sake. We don't handle snow here very well, let alone temperatures in the teens, which is what is predicted for Tuesday night

B. Louise 01-08-2011 07:40 PM

You got a lot more than we did in Elkhart. We got about 12 inches last night and today.

SueEllen 01-08-2011 08:38 PM

Lotsa snow!! Love your house! = )

Pickles 01-08-2011 09:35 PM

Love the snow when I don't have to get out and drive anywhere
, but we haven't had that kind of snow here in years now, use
to every winter knee deep are thigh deep was a norm here .

dewie45 01-09-2011 04:50 AM

Sometimes I miss northern Indiana and sometimes I don't. This might be a 'don't' time!

Stay safe and warm.

Mickie612 01-09-2011 05:24 AM

It is so pretty but don't want to drive to work in it, plus its hard on the animals :(

Please be careful and am sending a prayer that no one gets any ice.

That's why I spend my winters in Tucson!

liscarlm9326 01-09-2011 09:04 PM

I love thosa snow photos as we here on the West coast of Australia are having floods and heat waves Carmen

Momsmurf 01-09-2011 11:17 PM

No kidding! You do have a snowblower don't you? I'd invest in one if you don't. That's a LONG driveway.
I spent 9 years in Illinois...SW of Chicago and I learned to hate the snowplow driver! Our home was on a cul-de-sac with 13 homes on the street altogether with our home near the turn around. It never failed that just after we nice housewives finished shoveling the double car driveway (about 1/3 the length of yours) the snowplow would come and clear the street...building a nice hill at the bottom of the driveways which we then would have to clean off. It never failed!!! We did think of some nasty things we wished on him! ;-)

Do take care and don't over do it..that's hard work in cold weather!

Deecee 01-10-2011 01:30 AM

I love seeing pics of your winter wonderland but I'm glad I'm sitting in the sun over here.

That's what i told them i wanted here when they went to talking about snow here for yesterday. We got 8 to 10 inches. Which is alot for Arkansas south of Little Rock. Had to stay home and work on a quilt today. LOL

tlrnhi 01-10-2011 09:35 PM

You can send it this way. Weather people says sleet/mixed crap coming. I hope it's either snow or rain, not the mixed crap

Where are you? We're told to expect maybe ice, maybe snow, depends on just where the heck you are at any given time. PNW a forecaster's nightmare.
