OK.....so we all know I'm a quilter. Which for all intents and purposes, means I'm a seamstress. So would someone PLEASE explain to me why my pants cuffs look like this?!?!? I'm SUCH a failure..... *hanging head in shame* Donna |

simple, I don't and you probably don't hem. it's easier to make pants then to hem them.
use duct tape, or I just buy pants that are cut short. |
Use that Serger! I buy blouses that are way too long now and mark a line on the bottom and away I go with the serger and wear them just like that.

IMHO what self-respecting Quilter wants to waste their time hemming, mending, darning, or repairing zippers? Not me for certain! If I want that kind of aggravation, I'll go back to work. There are too many wonderful quilts to be working on instead!

I'm with the others. Just too lazy to do my own but take the time to do others. Just wish I was a little taller then would not have to hem. To heck with shorter, I'm already 2" shorter that high school and several lbs heavier.
