Just a good quality treadmill. When I bought it--6 years ago, I went for the higher end model. It is more durable and much sturdier than some I tried. I also have an issue with walking outside--we're in the country and since I have a bad hip, if I tripped and fell, it could be some time before someone actually found me.

None and I'm sticking to it.

Walking shoes and my neighborhood. When the weather doesn't permit I have a walking DVD I do in living room.

Ditto on the good quality treadmill. By varying your speeds & inclines you can get a good cardio workout. I love walking outside, but I also love walking inside on my treadmill watching TV or even reading a book!

My treadle sewing machine, Good ol Singer Red eye for leg work out, then there is lifting and stretching for when fur babies knock thing down. Arm workout by lifting my featherweight cases, with or without machines in them. More bending and stretching to tie off quilts. Lots of exercise and my favorite work out machines too.

LOL Nancy. Can I come and use them? I know that is the problem isn't it? I want to make a wise investment even if I buy used. I actually looked to see what state you are in. No pun intended.

That is great but I do not always get much of a work out dragging 7 or 8 kids along and I do not want to spook around in the dark alone. That would be the time DH is home and I could have time to myself.
