I will have to check out that sandra dallas.... Don't think I have read anything by her....

Water for Elephants is a really good book! I also loved the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo series. I just finished an awesome book by Kristin Hannah title Firefly Lane. I certainly plan to read more of hers. Right now reading Something Blue by Jean Christopher Spaugh, Look Back All the Green Valley by Fred Chappell and Jane Eyre. I always have at least three books going at one time. Yes, I do quilts as well---got 3 of them going as well.

:) :) :)

I am reading "The Land of the Painted Caves by Jean M. Auel. This is my first grown up book in a while. I love her books, they really make you think about what the world was like back then. During the school year I read the book that my puddlebug (DGD) reads. Then we discuss and she does much better on her reports.

I have just finished Slow Waltz in Cedar Bend by the author Robert Waller. He also wrote Bridges of Madison County. It is a slowly evolving love story. Not as good as 'Bridges' but good reading for the hot summertine.
