70 during the day and 68 at night. We live in a tri-level and our bedrooms are upstairs, and it gets really warm up there.
|
77 is our summer a/c temp downstairs, 78 upstairs (no one there..lol). We have lots of huge windows with solar screens and insulated drapes and ceiling fans in every room. Very comfortable.

76 or 78 most of the time. on 76, I get COLD at night!! Ole lady with thinning blood. LOL
|
Lately it hasn't mattered what the thermostat is set on, the poor AC just can't keep up with this 100+ degree heat. So we just set it on 74 and hope it doesn't get above 85 or so inside.

Since getting a new A/C system last week its cooler in here than it was. I used to have to set it about 72 but now its about 74/75 depending on the humidity outside.
I have breathing problems and it has to be comfortable for me. |
I set it to 75 during the day and 73 at night... but on days my husband is home it somehow gets set to 72... he keeps telling me that 74 is to close to 80... are you kidding me!

We keep ours at 78 or 79. But, we don't have the humidity, so it's very comfortable.

It isn't. Oregon this year, it really hasn't gotten to warm yet. Besides in our part of the state we rarely get more than a few days at a time of really high temps. so we don't own one. Fans work for us.
