I keep it at cold, around 72. It suppose to get up into the ninties next week, so I will have to adjust it again.

We used to keep it at 78 or 79 but it feels too cool and so I just put it up to 80 recently. I spend a lot of time outside in the heat and am more comfortable with warmer temperatures.

If we're not home most of the day, the programmable thermostat is set at 81 (just in case it gets too hot inside).
A hour or two before we're due to arrive home, it's set to cool down to 78 or 79.
At 10pm it automatically goes back up to 80 because our nights have been cool enough to open windows for fresh air.
If we're home all day, I'll adjust the temp as I see fit (usually to 78=79).
Fans use less electricity than air conditioning units.

No air conditioning....just wide open windows and a few fans...:-)

74-75 Daytime. Unless it's raining, I turn it off at night and open windows. Fresh air is vital to my health. Too much stuffy indoor air usually ends up bringing down my well being.

Also in North Texas. Keep it at 78/79. When it is 104 to 106 outside, the AC doesn't need to run so much. 3900 SF house....AC bill including lots of 100 plus degree days...was $198. We have ceiling fans in all major rooms except dining room so the upper 70's works...so far.
Might have to crank it down when the temp goes above 106.

85 ... but we do use ceiling fans, too!

If I had my way I would have it set at 55 all of the time, but I live with 68.
