very favorite of all time against the wind by bob seger... the part in the middle about "going 8 miles a minute for months at time, breaking all of the rules i could bend, never worrying about paying or even how much i owe" then "began to find myself searching for a little something against the wind"
i found my something (someone) and the first song we danced to was unchained melody... now wherever that is playing, we have danced... including the aisles in supermarkets! |
For the Longest Time by Billy Joel is "our song". My DH and I have seen him twice inconcert and it was wonderful!!!
I also love "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous brothers and so many others that I can't pick just one. |
our "default dance" number has always been orleans' "you're still the one"--that always got a turn in the aisle at the store, or a lap around the living room. (his parkinson's is not so kind toward dancing, nowadays. so we remember, instead.)

My all time fav is "Dancin' in the Moonlight" by King Harvest. A one hit wonder from the 70s. It somehow just makes me happy! |
