I love to bake during the holidays and am always looking for yummy recipes. My favorite requires no cooking, just melting chocolate. I make oreo and cream cheese trouffles, so yum and the family are always asking for them every year! I look forward to making them this year as I know have a Kitchen Aid, which I didn't have in past years! What are you favorite recipes, and please share so we can try them!!

This should probably be in the recipe section.
My favorite is the following --- very festive and VERY yummy (got two proposals when I made these one year!!!!) Black Forest Cheesecake Brownies 1 can (1 lb 5 oz) cherry pie filling 1 box (1 lb 5 oz) chewy fudge brownie mix, such as Duncan Hines 5 eggs, divided 1/2 cup + 6 Tbs butter or margarine, at room temperature, divided 3 pkg (4 oz each) cream cheese, at room temperature 3/4 cup sugar 2 Tbs all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp almond extract Preheat oven to 300deg F. Strain cherries, placing sauce in small plastic food storage bag; reserve. Line 13”X9” baking pan with foil; coat with cooking spray. In medium bowl with spoon stir brownie mix with 2 eggs, 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup water until just combined; spread in pan. With mixer at medium speed beat cream cheese and remaining butter until smooth, 1-2 minutes. Beat in sugar and flour until combined. Add extracts and remaining eggs; beat until smooth. Pour mixture over brownie batter in pan. Drop cherries over cheese mixture. Bake 1 hour and 20-25 minutes or until cheesecake is set and brownies are baked. When cool, transfer brownies to flat surface. Drizzle cherry sauce over brownies. |
