I have been an LPN for 45 years. For 10 years while raising 3 children as a single mom, I worked as an appointment coordinator, was able to turn off the phone at quitting time and leave! Needed to be home when the kids were home!! Then became a certified Pharmacy Tech for 4 years. Have been back in nursing now for 5 years and will finish out my working days as an LPN, I am hoping the good Lord will allow me to work 5 more years in a job I love!! I read all 37 pages, and am amazed by the diversity! I counted 6 LPN's.

I loved being a floral designer. I have been retired for 5 years. I have been quilting for 28 years and love every single moment of it.
I am also a soldier fighting a battle with cancer. Peace and Blessings,

I pray for complete healing for your cancer, in Jesus name Amen. God bless you and yours and may he wrap his loving arms around and fill you with his love with no place for cancer.

I retired as a pediatric physical therapist. I loved the kids I treated and enjoyed educating families about their child's condition. However, health care is changing and the continued emphasis on "billable" time was enough to push me out the door. I enjoy this board and this thread was interesting. We're a very diverse group.

I previously worked for an airline prior to deciding to buy my Gammill. I loved that work but the airline closed the Bangor station. I had previously worked for the airport/City doing Passenger Service (loved that job) and security screening. Only downside to both jobs was constant sleep deprevation.
