Jennifer, its a special type of rotary blade. I got one at Nancy's Notion. Haven't tried it yet but have it ready for when I do. I also picked up their pinking shear blade. Use that one all the time. Sure saves my hands when pinking all my edges on apparel clothing.

I've seen this also. The quilter joined her blocks in this manner.

JoAnn has these...as in a kit set..not cheap in my opinion but if you're going to be doing quite a few crocheting on edges then
It would be great. I thought they have blades that attaches to cutter by itself but I'm not sure...

I believe this is what Nancy Zieman has talked about and demonstrated and they sell on line at Nancy's Notions.

I got mine at Joann's Fabric. you have to ask at the check out counter as they store them behind a locked cabinet.

JoAnn Fabrics has them...and I think Hobby Lobby too....

I have the Skip Stitch Blades. They are wonderful. They now have one for the 60 mm rotary cutter too. I would not even attempt crocheting around fleece without using the Skip Stitch. http://www.skipstitch.com/
