My DM mom used to make caramel popcorn when I was a child. I spent a lot of time with her growing up. My parents always said if I wasn't home then I was at grandmas. It broke my heart when she got alzheimers and then demintia, I couldn't take my children around her because she got so mean. But I have all kinds of lovely quilts from her to keep her memory alive.
