THanks for all of the posts...

C'mon, c'mon!! I know the rest of you want to share!
This is fun.

Hey, FVG~ You gotta flying V? I still have my very first guitar, which is an acoustic, Academy Ovation (or bowl back)...it's white. I also have a black Gibson Epiphone and we have an old maroon bass (ELEC) that has no name bc it's so old! LOL! Our latest is about 2 years old. It's a woodgrain Johnson elec. My uncle has a music shop, and I've been tempted to get a pink acoustic. He had one for like $85 brand new! He also had a flying V trade-in last time I was in there...thought of you...

Haha. I wish I had a Flying V guitar (in process trying to one that's autographed by Kittie through a contest, though. Doubt I'll win it)! Actually, the lead singer of Kittie (my favorite band) plays several Flying V guitars...just off the top of my head she has a Gibson Gothic Flying V and a Custom Hammer Flying V. That's where my screen name comes from.

Outside the Guitar Hero games, I can't play guitar. I can barely play "Smoke on the Water" on one string. I used to own one of those cheap First Act guitars a few years back and I was trying to learn how to play "Fell in Love with A Girl" by The White Stripes before the neck broke clean in half (left the guitar in the car one cold April day...at least that's the conclusion I came to as to why it broke).

OMG! FVG~ Is there no way it was repairable!?!?
I learned to play on an OLD acoustic that my uncle made!!! The neck was shorter for some reason, and the strings were WAY up off the neck. Then, I worked and bought the Academy. My "friend"...(haha...how memories come back...one of my old boyfriends.) had an electric I bought, then he bought it from me. It was kinda junky, so I didn't really care. My BFF had a new Ibanez that was metallic turquoise. Her parents bought it for her and lessons, and she still couldn't play it, so I kept it at my house when I didn't have my uncle's electric Hurricane. Now THAT was a nice guitar. So easy to cord!
My uncle (the music shop owner) is going to fix my Academy. The bridge is pulling up and making the strings really far up off the neck. It's an old guitair and was always hard to play, anyway.

Well, I don't know if "Morgan" (yes, I named the guitar after the lead singer of Kittie) was repairable. There's not a place that I know of that fixes guitars, but I'm guessing they'd either be in La Crosse or Eau Claire. Besides, it's not like it cost a fortune (I got it as a birthday present...I think Mom paid only $50 for it). I kind of miss tinkering around with it, though. It'd be great if I could win that Flying V (I think its a Hammer) Kittie's giving away...but I still haven't filled out all the specifications yet so technically I can't win it.

Here's me doing my other favorite pasttime. This was taken on a small mountain lake on top of the continental divide(almost 8000' above sea level). I caught so many fish last Sunday, I lost track and got tired of reeling in!!!!

I'll see if I have any pictures on here to send....will do that in another posting. Great to see the rest of you.

You could post both. That would be nice.
