Drapery shirring???? Why didn't I think of that????
Looks great. Love the grey with the pink |
Thanks everyone. The quilt is from a pattern in Quilt-lovers’ Favorites from American Patchwork & Quilting, published by Better Homes and Gardens Books. I think it’s in Volume 2. I’m not sure what the designer called it.
As for the drapery shirring, I didn't use it -- I really wanted box pleats and couldn't find any shirring to do those, so I did it the old fashioned way -- a little bit of math, a marking pencil and a ruler. |
Any chance you'd be willing to give step by step instructions? I would love to do that with my bed, but don't know where to start.

I love the box pleats!! The quilt is darling, too. :)

I'm in the process of writing a tutorial. The text is written, but I need to add some photographs. Naturally, I didn't take any while I was making the dust ruffle -- so I need to do those next.

That is cute. Love the quilt on the daybed and the pillow case.

Love the dust ruffle, especially in gray. Great choice to pop the pink (cute quilt)!

It looks great!!! I procrastinate on things like this here. It feels good when you get it done.

The quilt and pillows look so comforting, it is like they are screaming for some one to come take a nap.
