Mine rite now is one of my african violets in bloom. Just changed it from one of my cat. I just put a pic that I like. But I like so many, so I have to keep changing it!

Since I like to collect vintage sewing machines and use them for piecing and quilting, I have my favorite machine, Singer 201 treadle, as part of my avatar. I have decided to display the quilt that I'm presently working on as the other part of my avatar.

I don't know why I chose that quilt; couldn't get a pic of the 2 dogs together and didn't want to play favorites; and certainly wasn't going to post a pic of myself. And my grandkids like to remain anonymous. Maybe one day I will change to a different quilt.

My avatar is a Mariner's Compass quilt that I won in 1994 at a quilt show in Pittsbugh, PA. It was made by the Keystone Quilters' guild. I keep hoping someone on this board will recognize the quilt because she had a part in making it.

I finally figured how to do this..the only picture I had was a baby quilt with the baby on it that I made for a friend. The little boy's name is Derek... :P

Mine is a photo quilt I made of my niece and nephew's dog ... he looks happy and thus makes me happy when I see his smiling face

My avatar is my granddaughter Jayden. She was forever lost to me through adoption last year, so I use it to keep in touch. Long painful story, but I loved her enough to let her go. Her smile makes me smile.

So sad to hear that. I am sure that someday she will try to find you again, since you love her so much she will never forget that. My heart goes out to you.
