It's 63* ,with a high today of 79*.....so AC is off, windows open!!!!!!!!! TV says highs of 78-80 next few days for an "Autumn" feel....with a rainy cool wk end in store.

The temp change is just starting here in Buffalo. It feels wonderful. Don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready for some snow!!

I was able to finally shut off the AC and open up my house this morning.....fresh air !!!

We actually turned on the furnace this morning here in the UP-the windows were open last night and we have pretty heavy winds. . . I personally am not ready to give up my summer!

I am sooooo jealous! It was 72 here in NC this am and the humidity is down, felt great but can't open the windows yet. It is suppose to be 92 again today. I am soooo ready for fall!

It's 65 here in Pittsburgh PA this morning and my windows are open, there is a wonderful breeze and the sun is shining. YEAH!

Oh I am so waiting for the end of Oct that's when it cools down around here, enough for me anyway. Can't wait for winter.

We can only dream of lovely temps like that. It is only 48 degrees F. (9C) here and we don't expect it to get much higher for today. In June, July, and so far in August, we can count the number of sunny days we have had on our fingers ..... so less than 10 days altogether! Cold, wet, foggy, drizzly for the past 3 months .... summer has been non-existent!

It's even cooler in Florida. Was a little chilly this morning letting the dog out at 5:00 a.m. I could have used something over my nightgown.

I honestly never thought I would be so glad to see fall arrive. But it has been so ungodly hot in southern MI this year and we do not hat a/c so I say bring on the cool days and nights.

I am hoping we have broke the heat wave of triple digits. I am looking forward to fall, not winter.

I have a very strange cat- Katie. She's the only one who goes out. She was an indoor/outdoor cat when we got her so she gets her way.
Anyway, she loves it hot, humid, rainy, stormy- but now on this GLORIOUS DAY, she decided she wants to sleep on the loveseat all day. Never fails!! LOL :D |

We shut our air off and opened the doors yesterday morning. Nice to air the house out.
Went to get my nightly tea and on the way in the car, turned off the air and used the vent. What a releif after 2 weeks + of extremely hot weather! |
Windows are closed in Michigan. It was getting so cold in the house last night I shut them about 8 o'clock. I love the cooler weather.

Wonderful sleeping weather....55* last nt & high of 79* yest. Just a break is nice in the hazy,hot & humid. Hope we're done with that till next summer.

We noticed a change here in Ky yesterday. IT dropped 10 degs! Looks like no higher than 80s the rest of the week and 60s at night! Outstanding!!!

I'm in Ohio too and have had the windows open since Sunday. Wish we could put a hold on today's weather until Christmas Eve.
I had lots to do outside yesterday and it was sooo windy, mowed some where it needed it and pulled a few weeds and then had a nap!! I love the lower humidity. It makes me perspire (I call it sweat) but I heard once that people that sweat don't get so wrinkly. Makes me grumpy too. Had a BLT for dinner again 'cause my tomatos are finally ripening fast and furious. I think they love the hot humid weather. Yummm |
All summer long we can open the windows about 8:00P.M. and then we don't have to close them again until about 2:00P.M. We are so lucky that we only have to run the AC about six hours a day all summer long.
