Lynnie do you or anyone else know where I can find this Rex rabbit fur?

Go to Red Heart web site and you will find one like that on their free patterns.

The link that Zennia put up below is the same pattern I use. I made a lot of them this year for the church fair. When I was in H.S. many years ago I also made them. They were very popular and a lot of the girls were wearing them.

I only crochet too, and I just chose a pattern crocheted about 3/4 of the way, then crocheted only half way across the scarf til it was long enough, tied off yarn, tied back on beside the other and crocheted another one to the end, crochet across to close the opening and make it a little longer. Another idea. Crochet with at least 4 ply yarn, choose an open or loose pattern, crochet the scarf to the dimensions you want. Find a pretty, large button, sew t on, and it can be buttoned anywhere you want. obviously, measure that the button fits, and stitch it on. PS. choose a smooth button, I have even layered the button for a different look, small red on large gray, large blue, smaller white. You get the idea. Pretty easy and doesn't take much yarn.

I seen the pattern on Sewing with Nancy...
