Went with DH on a trip to CO in May and a road trip to MN this past weekend and started making yo yo's to give me something to do. This is what I'm working on for now and there are more patterns on the Indygo Junction website. Very cute projects.

I'm not sure why - but I LOVE yo-yos! I hope to one day make a quilt/coverlet of just yo-yos. I saw one once - it had won Best of Show - and LOVED the look. I just haven't had time to sit down and start making the yo-yos. One day... :D

Goodness! I never thought yo yo's were so popular! I remember seeing that yo yo coverlet made of like 10 inch circles! It was pretty....and might not take 10 years to get done that way!
http://fiberworks-heine.com/virtual-shop-tour.html scroll through by clicking the arrow and look at the larger size picture below the thumbnails...there is a throw size yo yo coverlet on the bed made with really large yo yo's..... Oh! it's a pattern by Laura Heine: http://fiberworks-heine.com/quilt-pa...-coverlet.html |
