I would pay stores to NOT have to go out. I hide at home.

Absolutely YES! My best friend since college and I go out in the madness every year. I have little ones so the deals are worth it for me.

We have a blast! Meeting other 'crazy shoppers' along the way!
This year it looks like some of the stores are opening at 10pm - gonna be an all nighter!

Unfortunately I do but only b/c I have an ebay business. I don't do any other shopping except for the 2 stores.

I do my shopping on line that day! I have NEVER done the black Friday thing and have no desire to fight over some deal!

I will take pleasure in staying home ON PURPOSE. All the stores have sales even before Thanksgiving, so IMHO there's no need to take the "occasional pleasure" of shopping and turn it into an unpleasant experience.

I don't go shopping often, and don't really have the desire for much "stuff"... so when I do go, it's, well, "special time".

I live in a smaller community so its not near as bad as it is in the city. I will be going out next friday. I have my list all ready. I may or may not hit Joann's though, that place will be CRAZY.

I do not do this marathon type shopping.

The year I quit retail, I PROMISE to stay home, off the roads, and eat reheated leftovers with stale soda rather than put myself out in that for a moment.

However, as this is my 20th!!!!! Christmas in retail (oh dear god tell me thats wrong) I will be up and at'em...and we won't miss one of you gals, who seem to be the few and the sane...
