That is the best series of comebacks I've ever heard of! I bet she lifted everyone's spirits with the laughter. (Well, except for that self important idiot) thanks for the great story!

Cheers to her if the story is real and cheers to the person who made it up if it's fiction. Blessed are the assertive for they will stand their ground.

I am sad to say that my DH acted almost as badly as that person at the airport when my mother was terminal and I had to get to Puerto Rico in a hurry. I don't know why people act that way, but I can tell you from personal experience that it changes your relationship forever. This happened in 2007 and I still cannot forgive him for making a real bad situation so much worse. I try to tell myself that he was just frustrated and trying to help me but I wonder if he is so insightful could he not see how horrible I felt because of his actions? I think that some people feel entitled because of their status in society or profession to act this way. I wish I could have laughed then and still wish I could laugh now. I actually cringed as I read this story.

Iraxy, did you ever tell you husband how you felt about the whole situation??? Did he ever say he was sorry??? Well even if he didn't you should let him know how you've felt ever since then and then apologize to him for having those "sorry" thoughts!!! You will see it will clear your heart, make you feel better and it might just make hubby realize his actions make you really unhappy. It never pays to hold a grudge and really at the end it poisons YOUR heart :( Good luck!!! :)
