I,m 82 and I'm REALLY older than old dirt.ha. I remember all of that and much more. 1 gift for Christmas{a pr. of PJ,s.] Candles burning in a holder and clamped on the real tree limb. Can you believe that? Wash hanging in the house in the winter all thru the place. Too cold out. More and more.
Well, I remember them all plus most of the ones that were added. Some were at my grannie's house in the country, the washtub for baths, and well water and icebox. Most were part of daily life in Atlanta, but then I'm a lot older than dirt, pre WWII as a matter of fact. And I do remember Studebakers! My aunt had one. Actually, I'm 74.

I'm WAY OLDER THAN DIRT - & I agree w/what you said
"I might be older than dirt but those memories are some of the Best Parts of my Life." Even without all the conveniences of today, many of the younger generations have no idea how much they've missed :x |
OMG I didn't know I was sooo old Maybe I just have a great memory!!
I'm almost as old as dirt, maybe just stones... I remember some of those, but not all...
I'm older than dirt  The only thing I don't remember is heating a soldering iron on the stove.
"Thanks for the memories" Know them all too well. How about the Hudson Hornet, Nash and Rambler, would love one of those cars now. Grandkids don't know the good wholesome movies, nor the actors and actresses. Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Jimmy Duante, Red Skelton, Lucy and those way before them, especially the cowboy stars. Waiting forever to go to the movies and talking about it for weeks. And now I complain because my dial-up is so slow.
I am older than dirt too.... 77 now... and I remembered all of those plus the ones above...
