cool!
|
How wonderful....gives you a bit of hope for our little blue planet when you see wild things roaming.
|
I had not seen a bobcat in years. One night I was driving late and with in about 90 miles I saw two. It was pretty cool.
|
Wow that would have been pretty neat seeing one in the wild....

We have racoons, possums, bobcats and foxes and this is in a highly populated area between Fort Worth and Dallas. I guess they adapt to us invading their territory...but we do have to watch out for our dogs and cats. The bobcat and foxes kill them. Our neighbor let her little dog out to do this thing and a large hawk swooped down and took him away. Other neighbors have had cyotes stalking their pets.....Our ranch in west Texas is a pleasant place to watch wildlife....except for the rattle snakes and the critter in the attached pictures...killed north of our ranch. We have possums, moles, squirrels and an occasional raccoon. But in Bellingham a deer will often wander into town.

Way cool

We have one too. Several sightings. I didn't believe it until I saw it myself. Now I keep the camera and telephoto lens handy, but I'll probably never see it again.

I remember when I still lived on the western slope, a few years back and they were trying to transplant bobcats in the Vail are, I think. The first few years, they didn't do well, but some must have survived and even thrived if they made it as far down as Canon City.
