It's a gorgeous state. My sister lived in Cranston, right outside of Providence, for many years.
So much to do, great beaches, awesome Italian food. Great place to visit. I did, often :D

Thanks everyone. DS really does need a change of scenery (bad breakup, etc) it will just be an adjustment. On the bright side I have always wanted to visit New England. He would be sharing a condo with a friend who is already there. We just have to wait and see if he gets that job. He heard from his friend today that his application will be fast tracked to the boss.

The beauty of a board such as this is that it doesn't matter where we are geographically, we have a bond that reaches across the miles through our shared love of quilting. I talked to my 20 year old son from the time he got to the airport until he had to board a couple of hours later. The lady at the ticket desk told him moms are universal because she knew by his responses that he could only be talking to his mom. I miss my kids a lot and I wish that they lived nearer but I am so happy knowing that they can survive this world without me when the time comes. God bless our kids!
