When making a purse that calls for med. and heavy fusible could I just use something like warm and natural instead or would that totally not work? Also do you think batting would work in a purse that doesn't call for anything to help it be a little more stable and not so floppy?

I use Pellon 987F fusible fleece in my bags. You may want to quilt it heavily if you don't use the iron on. From my experience the fusible fleece works great. I did try a lower number of the fleece but it was heavier and harder to work with. Good luck!

I think it would work fine as long as it is quilted to the fabric! :D

How bulky are the bags when the pattern calls to line the outer shell and again for the lining ??
