Cute kitties or should I say "helpers?"

Maine Coon is a branch of the Norwegian Forest Cat, known here as Norsk Skog Kat.

Don't recommend fluffing yours up in the dishwasher. I nearly washed mine though in the washer! We only have front loaders here and we call it Pussy TV because they like to watch the clothes twirl, who would have thought Ibsen would actually get inside?

These ladies are talkers too. They hold conversations with us and fully expect an answer! Our neighbor, who they LOVE, took weeks before he would acknowledge that they actually were talking TO him and answered when he spoke back to them. Now they have regular chats. But we can't let anyone else know the big guy talks to little pussycats. ROFLOL

Lovely little companions/helpers/supervisors/conversationalists! You have cats with many roles. My orange tabby is a talker, too. He makes full eye contact and expects an answer. And everytime one of us sneezes, he says something (we guess that he's either blessing us or telling us to stop it). With all the layers of fur, I imagine you have to brush them almost everyday, don't you? They are very beautiful cats!

They are beauties. Reminds me of my all white fuzzy cat I had in the 70's. His name was Spook. Ya know, like a ghost. I love that your furries are watching you sew - that's a sign of a good kitty.

I believe you about the cat waiting to go get the cows. There is a cat in Norway that instincitively knows when the coastal boat will dock and bring the mail and other goods (and tourists). He runs to the dock and waits patiently for the boat and receives his goodies from the crew. Just amazing! They did a stint on a TV show about him.
