WOW!!! I've seen flooding in my hometown, but NOTHING like that!!! Thanks for the pics!!!!

I feel for all of you. I was in Oklahoma in May of 1984 and lost everything in 8 feet of water. It was a terrible thing but my daughter and I and our lovely dog all lived so we went on but many didn't. I will put you in my prayers.

I have a son and a daughter in the floods one in Mackay and one in cairns it is hard to imagine unless you are there but last time there were crocodiles walking the main streets in Mackay

If anyone is interested in pictures of the flooding in Australia - the area affected is the size of Germany and France combined. After years of drought, the irony of it all... just about as devastating as the cyclones can be.
