You are probably right, I do not think it will do me that much for the price my DH will cut for me. I had shoulder surgery and it is hard for me to keep the ruler true. I will think all day today and decide tomorrow if I will return it. I got some good feed back here. Just as I expected.

I love mine, also. I especially like it for strips and haven't used it for blocks, yet. I'm still adding dies to collection.

A friend has one and she lent it to me for a week to try it out, I wanted to try out the Rag Die, so she lent me her Go and the rag die and wow it was great for cutting flannel for rag quilts, it cuts the fringe exactly 1/4" wide, so I decided to buy one. I got the 2 1/2" strip dies, which will be great for cutting binding strips. Still waiting for my rag die to come though, but I think it's going to be great.

I don't see why you can't cut the strips using the length of the fabric, instead of the width, so that way you would get longer strips. I would maybe only cut one layer of fabric at a time.
But definately go to their website and either chat with one of their staff or send them an e-mail, they are very helpful.

I really want one and was also wondering if it was worth it.

Well I bought one and I have to say I like it a lot. It does cut very nice and so you get a cleaner cut and a better fit when you sew the pieces together. I did buy the board for the 21/2 strips. I think that is the one I wanted the most.
Yesterday I was short one strip so I cut it by hand and there is a slight difference in size' I think from the ruler to the cutter.
So all in all I am happy that I bought it.
