Silly girl! You only clean house when you run out of fabric!

Quilt, of course. That cleaning will still be there over the weekend when a lot of other things are going on.

I used to ask myself if my children would remember if the house were clean, or would they remember that I sat down and played with them or read to them. Answer is a no brainer and the same applies to quilting. I would never want my eulogy to be "She was an excellent housekeeper"!

Why do we struggle with the question I wonder. House always looses. But agree that once in a while we have to clean the house, for example when people is coming over in my case. I like the arrangement with the cleaning lady. She asked me for a quilt for her Mom, such a good idea to exchange it for her work!
I will use the smart advice given, 20 min cleaning and 20 min quilting- well if the quilting time gets extended it is all right!

My rule of thumb is to clean house when the floor starts to crunch when I walk (usually from an excess of cat litter).

Have fun quilting!

As long as there is a safe path to the sewing cave the house is clean enough---

If my house is clean, there hasn't been any quilting getting done, and that is a sin. You must quilt
