Is anyone else going to Quilt Trail Gathering in Winchester, Ohio on May 13-14? I'm so excited that I've been asked to come join other quilt barn and trail supporters by having a booth to sell my book. It's been 10 years since Donna Sue Groves hung the first quilt barn square.
Let me know if you'll be there. Would love to meet some of you.

I'm driving further than that for this one. Doing way too much traveling in the next 2 months but I'll meet some wonderful new friends at these special events.

The Quilt Trail of Northeast Tennessee is taking reservations for a group making the trip via chartered Motor Coach leaving May 12th from Kingsport TN with a pick up in Knoxville to the Quilt Trail Gathering. Our group only will visit Donna Sue Groves mothers farm and her mother Maxine Groves will guide us on a tour of the original Quilt Trail in Adams County Ohio. We will stay just across the river at the Historic French Quarter Inn in Maysville KY. After attending the Gathering Event we will return on Sunday May 15th and tour some Quilt Trails in KY & TN before returning home that evening. You can get details on this all inclusive tour at http://www.QuiltTrail.org or see the attachments for this and an April 29th tour in Sullivan County

Ooo! Sounds fun. Not sure where I'm staying yet. I will be doing a book signing at the "Where Art Thou" Gallery in Maysville, KY on Saturday night after the Quilt Trail Gathering ends. You should tour Maysville's walking quilt trail and drop by to see me.

Our tour will be spending time in Maysville and plans to see the downtown trail. We leave East TN on Thursday and will come back Sunday. We would be glad to have you join us for the trip. I am sure the other folks on the tour would like to hear about your book.

Thanks for the invitation. I'd love to join you, but as a vendor my schedule will be different, thus transportation issues.
I would love to meet your group. BTW, I'll be in Lynchburg, TN on April 30 for their Spring in the Hollow Festival. Some of your quilt trail followers might be interested in that event. They're asking folks to bring vintage quilts to catalog for their historical value. Lots of fun activites too.
I'm sure we'll cross paths along the way. Small world.

Heading to Ohio for the Quilt Trail Gathering. I'm excited to meet Donna Sue Groves. She's expecting people from many states. All of us have some part in the quilt barn trails spreading across the country. What fun!! If you live near Winchester, Ohio come join the convention. I'll be at Where Art Thou in Maysville, KY on Saturday when they unveil the walking tour of the town's trail. Drop by and get a copy of my book. It's going to be an exciting weekend.
Happy Quilting
