Default Quilting on The Big Bang Theory

Did you watch Big Bang last night? I can't remember Amy's exact words, but it was something like "Yeah, I do like quilting. It's the most time consuming way to make a blanket." What a cute episode.

Missed it..will catch on demand.....shows how tunnel visioned some academics can be...or at least the writers! Wonder if they'll get any blow back from fans.

Cute!

I go to a crafting seminar once a month and the presenter always states how she began sewing garments. Before she started quilting, she couldn't make sense of cutting gorgeous fabric into little pieces and then sewing them back together again. Now she demonstrates how the new tools and pre-cuts have encouraged her to start quilting.

I loved the fabrics she used and Amy covered up on the couch with the partially made quilt. Cute.

I always admired the afghan Amy used to have draped across the couch at her apartment. I always thought it would make a cute quilt. I haven't watched the series the past couple of seasons so I am behind.

I liked that they used a vintage machine. I'm assuming it came from Howard's mother house. I like the Big Bang, no politics, no agendas, just silly fun.

Question Big Bang Theory "Quilting Bee"

Did anyone see the recent Big Bang Theory T.V. show that featured a Quilting Bee/Bachelorette Party? If they were being politically correct, the party would have been a ball...but they portrayed it as something dull :-( They got a couple details right...like having a Featherweight, But the giant bolts of fabric weren't accurate. LOL! And what quilting method was that?
