Whoa! I may not like his art style, but he is definitely talented and I love that he's doing it.

I too saw it. Amazing talent. Not my taste but was obviously someone's. It should be on the CBS web site under Sunday Morning.

I take care of seniors and one of my ladies ( 95 years old) is so ( smitten) with Ben's quilts! She saw a couple on the program she really wants. they are pretty amazing.

Ya know what? Good for him! If it keeps him off the streets, and he can enjoy the love and inner warmth that piecing and quilting gives us all...GREAT!!!!!

Don't you love how in the film clip at the bottom he says people always think he's not the quilter, that he has a "garage full of grandmas" quilting for him? Not sure I like that classification, even if it is largely true and I fit it.

I saw that piece. I thought his quilts were awesome. His quilts are not for everyone, but then I see quilts everyday on this board that I do not like. You really have to admire his work.

To me his quilts are no more "out there" than the ones made with skeleton fabrics, etc.
To each is own - but they are amazing!
