I am in Plano to, what a surprise to find 2 dogs running into the house with muddy paws this morning. We didn't hear the rain so had no idea. Couldn't be mad though was more excited my yard is wet!

Hope you get lots! Plus, hope it's a slow enough rain that it will have time to seep in and not just run off. We are also needing rain. It's been heat indexes here of over 100 for probably the last 30 days. Our trees are dropping their leaves, pecans are dropping off, figs dropping off.. Just too hot to survive. I've never seen it like this before.

It's seeping in, but we will need lots of rain to break this drought. I have cracks in my yard that are 8 inches wide. I'm north of Plano, up in Sherman. It was wonderful to wake up to rain. Finally
