Raisins and Gin?

I know! I was thinking that I probably wouldn't feel my arthritis after 20 gin soaked raisins.

Well maybe if I get enough of it it will take care of any of my ails. I wonder if you can soak it in anything else besides gin. Gin is not my thing.

Years ago my husband's sister-in-law called him and asked if he would go and buy her some gin. She had heard about this remedy but could not buy the liquor herself - would have rather died than to let anybody see her buy it in our small town. So, he did buy her a bottle - don't know if it did her any good or not - but she did not ask him to buy her any more booze.

I dont know but it sounds funny, (hee hee)... if I ate a bunch of raisins soaked in gin I wouldnt care if I had arthritis or not... but it would be a fun night!

I don't think so - several friends from church do - There probably isn't enough gin in the raisins to do much. Maybe use them as a bedtime snack!!!LOL

I tried this years ago. Couldn't stand the taste. Now, if it worked in bourbon...:)
