I have rec'd 2 and have sent out ONE. Will send another Soon. I lay out the list of names, think about WHATto make and then close my eyes, put my hand on one of the papers. Then I place that paper next to my sewing machine and think about each name as I am sewing and somehow a name pops! Its a lenghty way to decided whom gets RAKed.... But, I like to think while I sew and Beleve me I think about all my quilting-sewing friends near that I know and those of you who I will never get to meet ~ NEVER know when it will be YOU :-)

I also want to thank Rosemary who sent the most adorable little wallet that is perfect for all those membership cards we seem to need these days! Will post a photo as soon as I find it again! Melissa and I have made such a horrid mess with our paper piecing. And now she has left for work so I need to tidy up after both of us!

i have a hankering for a big fat juicy hamburger today. now this is unusual in that i dont really eat red meat much (about 3 hamburgers a year) anymore plus i was working to be meat free this year. today i want one that will drip juice down my arm with each bite. i am on my way to a friend's birthday celebration along with a game of darts (his fave). i think i will stop at five guys burgers on the way. gotta get all the grease... um i mean juice... wiped off before i get to the bar.

i have had a ruff week so this is my artery clogging treat to myself today.

I have sent out the newest RAK list to your email addresses.

If you are on the list (or sent me the request) and DID NOT
get the email please let me know.

I do have a couple people who are on the list, but has never
sent me an email to finalize their sign up.

Quilty Louise, thank you so much for the St Patricks Day postcard, it is fab, my 11 year old loved it and has asked if she can have your permission to bring it into school to show her teacher. I am in a postcard swap with a group on yahoo and our theme was paper pieced gnomes and I thought at first that it was for one of these but then I saw your name on the back. I love all the thought you have put into the card. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will post a photo later on.

I've come down with what I think maybe the flu and so I may not be posting much. It will depend on if I can get out of bed. Sitting up causes my stomach not to behave very well. I've started working on the memory blocks for Emma's quilts this week. It has not been an easy thing to do. I'm hoping to post some pictures soon of some finished blocks.
