RAK Thank You!

Quilty Louise, thank you so much for the St Patricks Day postcard, it is fab, my 11 year old loved it and has asked if she can have your permission to bring it into school to show her teacher. I am in a postcard swap with a group on yahoo and our theme was paper pieced gnomes and I thought at first that it was for one of these but then I saw your name on the back. I love all the thought you have put into the card. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will post a photo later on.

I've come down with what I think maybe the flu and so I may not be posting much. It will depend on if I can get out of bed. Sitting up causes my stomach not to behave very well. I've started working on the memory blocks for Emma's quilts this week. It has not been an easy thing to do. I'm hoping to post some pictures soon of some finished blocks.

RAK from walk-n-roll (Diane)
Here is a photo of the wonderful RAK I received from walk-n-roll. It has some lovely fabrics, fabric labels, M & M's (my daughter is called Gemma and her friend is called Emma and we always call them the M & M's) dress notepad, matching pen and nail file and a great joke which was very apt. I love everything in it. Thank you for sending me such wonderful goodies which certainly cheered me up no end.

This is so nice to see. With so much bad news in the world around us I think quilters are the best at seeing and spreading " a little good news". The kindness and generosity you see on this site is truly inspiring. Hugs to all of you!

Of course your daughter can take it to school, but the real question
is will mom let her?
LOL
Glad you liked the fabric postcard. I use to do a lot of FPC in a
cafemom group every month, except we did the unusual, wacky,
bizarre, and unique holidays, it was a blast to see what some of
the ladies would come up with as their interpretation of a wacky
holiday.
I still have all my FPC's in a box and I like to pull them out some
times and look at them.
