Louise,
I am sorry you didn't get that job. I believe it is THEIR loss. They don't know you like we do. Keep checking back with them periodically, something else might come up there that will be a better fit. You made it a long way in their process. they must have seen some good things.
Also, thank you for the RAK update. Mary

Is anyone "thinking" about what to make for Christmas yet?
I have SEVERAL "Tiny Tannenbaum" tree wall hangings I want
to make this year. Made the first one last year and sent it to my
MIL since they were planning to be gone for the majority of the
holiday season they didn't want to put up any decorations so when
I sent her that wall hanging tree she LOVED it because it was just
the "right" amount of holiday decor she needed.
Some of you may know that I am on the "look out" for fabrics that
has metallic gold, mainly in colors OTHER than green and red, because
I already have way more than I need (at this time). Colors I am trying
to find are pink, purple, blues, teals, black, cream, white, and anything
else.
My #1 main goal is to make one of these wall hangings for my daughter
in PINKS because that is her favorite color. I think at this point I have
about 3 prints with gold.
In case your not sure what the wall hanging looks like here is a link to
the one I made last year that I posted on the QB.

LOL I have tons of red and green with the metallic gold.
It's the other colors that I am looking for.
BUT if you need some let me know I will send YOU some
if you want to make that tree.
I also found some miniature battery operated lights to
use, I am going to make "button" holes for inserting the
lights with a "pocket" on the back to hold the battery pack.

Great idea when ironing
Some of you may know that I had (have) a MEGA stash
of fat quarters that I have been trying to iron and fold.
However my "normal" size (24oz) spray bottle that I used
to fill the water tank in my iron just kept running out of water.
Now the tank on my iron holds 12 ounces of water, I could
only get 2 fills on a bottle. It felt like I was ALWAYS at the
faucet filling the bottle again.
A couple weeks ago I was the store and happen to spot one
of those larger (1/2 gallon maybe?) water bottles and thought
that would be perfect for my ironing "binges". It's an idea that
I am GLAD to be using now.
The spray bottle on the right is a 24oz size and the one on the
left is the NEW water bottle that I am happy to be using.
Have you tried this?

I received an awesome RAK today from Teresa (MSCUPID804). It was wonderful - thank you. She sent animal fabrics for the I SPY quilt I am working on. I had to cut into them immediately - so if all the fabrics aren't shown you will know why. Thanks again!!!!!

them in. Also just found one that has NOT been stuffed away
some where.
What do you think?
I have 1/4 yard (9"x42") Picture #1 is one-half and picture #2 is other half.

On a side note the fabric in your picture on the lower far right
is the same fabric I used to make my FIRST quilt which is hanging
on the wall by my desk.
Here is the picture of that quilt (please overlook the "junk" in front of quilt).
