My sister bought me a really nice blouse from a well known store the other day and I couldn't stop laughing while reading the information printed on the garment tag. Hope you find it a funny as I did. And I quote:

"This garment has received a special wash and dyeing effect which gives it a customized look. Gradual fading will occur over time with wear. Pilling, holes and other imperfections are intended to achieve the ultimate fabric effect. Color may transfer especially when in contact with light colored garments and upholstery. Avoid wearing with light colored garments to prevent color transfer."

Guess I shouldn't wear it with the white pants I bought or when visiting my friend with the beautiful white couch. LOL

Has anyone else noticed this tag on clothing they have purchased?

That is quite the warning label, lol! I've never had anything labeled quite so boldly. Would love to see a pic of the blouse after reading that label!

oh my goodness... just pointing out what a poor quality garment it is!

I would wash it by itself on delicate with a colour catcher and see if any dye bleeds out. Everyone sues anymore at a drop of a hat and they probably just covering their back.

Does the label also say Pakistan? They are notorious for cheap dyes.

Sounds like they're covering themselves so they'll have no returns for poor quality. "Didn't you read the label? You were warned." Guess I'll start checking the labels more closely before buying.

Oh my, so it will fall apart and you've been forewarned. goodness. I did put a lovely dark pillow back on the shelf after reading it wasn't to be set on a light colored sofa because the color could rub off. made in China.
