well I do hate the cold but at the same time really enjoy the "downtime" that winter brings. It seems that in good weather I am always on the go - outside activities; soccer games; yard work that never ends - right now, under all that snow, my yard is a mess - leaves that never got raked, broken branches around from late fall/early winter winds; etc etc. Since the weather doesn't permit taking care of those issues, I don't worry about any of it. So, I guess that I think of winter as a time to recoup from the hustle and bustle of warmer weather and gives me an opportunity to focus on doing all the things (like quilting) that I would not get to in nice weather when I will be drawn outside. I know - I am crazy but sometimes winter just gives me that warm and cozy feeling.

Only one problem with warmer weather--that's when we find out that the cold didn't kill all the mosquitoes.

According to my education in temps in celsius, that is 33+33+33 and that equals about (give or take) 99* F. Oh, send me some of that weather, please!!!!

Enjoy your day, because when we are having 33C, you will be having snow? Edie
