Heading this way too. Not expecting much here but northern areas might get up to 10 - 12". Groan. Much too early in the season. Wish everyone well. Stay home, stay safe.

Here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV we are expecting 5 to 8 inches. We have the fireplace ready to go. I can just imagine what my roses are gonna look like with the snow along with the mums.

We're expecting some tomorrow... That's why I didn't complain about the 100 degree weather this summer. I hope this early arrival isn't a glimpse of a long hard winter...

My DH said that there were winter storms in the NE but I thought he was joking. It's pretty early for that, we haven't even had snow in Illinois yet and this is where God usually sends the weather when it's throwing a tantrum

I heard on the news that there is concern that the power could go out in some areas due to the storm-please do what you can to be prepared!

Weather.com has a expected and possible power outage pic over several states.

Today we, in S.E. PA., went from 'may see a few flakes' to Oh, Yeah! Your going to get a few inches and this is the FIRST SNOW BEFORE HALLOWEEN since the Civil War.

It is going to be nice but not fun.

This afternoon the radio in my sewing room was playing and the announcer said that we can expect 2 to 4" tonight through tomorrow morning. This was around noon today. By somewhere around 3 this afternoon, the prediction changed to 4 to 6". I think I do not want to listen to the radio any more today. I think I do not want ot look out the windows either. I might as well have stayed in CO.
