When my MIL was murdered, everyone in the family was in shock. I swiped her recipe box....everyone said they didn't want it and were going to throw it away. For years after family would call and ask if I have "mom's xxxxx recipe". Good that you got it...I'm sure she, whoever she is, is pleased you salvaged it.
