    i used to find them at the Hallmark store around Easter. My kids loved them. DD even made some one year. They turned out cute!

    It's so funny that this thread shows up. Yesterday my mom got her's out that my x-SIL made for her 30 years ago. The little animals on the inside had broken so I took it back to my x-SIL and she is gonna make some more and fix it. My mom loves it and puts is out every Easter. I may have to make her a new one....hahaha

    I remember those also...they were so pretty and we never ate them just enjoyed them until they somehow disappeared.

    My mother made them for many years. She made the sugar shells in halves then put tiny rabbits, grass, carrots, etc in a little scene - all made of royal icing. Then put them together. They were really pretty but a lot of work!
