My nineteen year old dgd gave me one two years ago for Easter. I still have it in the clear plastic box on my dresser.

My first experience with these was a TV program making Christmas bells but they were just bells and nothing else.

If you have a World Market near you, they sell them there. "Spun Sugar Panoramic Eggs" $1.99 each (according to the flyer that came with this morning's paper).

Wow haven't made one in years. Still have the form. Think I will next year for the little granddaughters. You need time and one week will not be enough and then to mail them. - J.

I remember those. My paternal grandmother use to buy them for the kids every year from a candy shop in Seaside Heights NJ. I haven't see one in years. I always thought they were so pretty.

    Hi sewingsuz,

I remember these as well but haven't seen them in a while, but I bet if I check the specialty candy stores I may find them. Thanks for the memory

This is so funny! I just watched those eggs being made on the Food Network Channel just last nite. I never knew how they made them. Was fun to watch. And yes they still are in some stores.

ENJOY! and make sure you show us pics!!! :):):)
I made a gazillion of these when my kids were small in different sizes.

My suggestion...instead of actually going out and spending alot of money on the mold, go to walmart or big lots or any store and buy a big plastic easter egg thats filled with candy and just empty it out and use the egg for the mold. Thats what I did. You actually may even be able to find one at the dollar store. I've even seen some at the good will before. Just a suggestion.
