When I found one of my threads on google I changed my avatar pic (was a pic of me) to the one I am using now. Didn't want the whole world to see my pic!

I guess that does bring up the question of whether or not it's safe for us to have our pictures on here. Any thoughts?

Just like most of the internet. Once you put it out there anyone can find it and it's out there for the world to see. They talk about Facebook all the time, but wouldn't this classify as basically the same thing, a social network? Just be careful what you put out there, or it could come back to bite you in the butt. Follow this general rule: If you think it will come back to bite you, don't put it out there to begin with. Pretty simple actually.

You do need to be careful especially about posting your e-mail or home address or phone numbers. PM anyone that you see that has listed those and let a moderator know so we can delete that information out of their threads!
