I have a friend who was seeing a nutritionist and she told my friend to only shop the outer perimeter of the store. That is where the healthiest food is.

This is very true... there are only a couple of other aisles that I regularly shop besides the outer perimeter :D:D:D

What gets me is how they cannot seem to put obvious things together....pancake mix in the baking aisle and syrup in the cereal aisle is one example that comes to mind. I honestly thought I was losing my mind the evening those items were on my grocery list. The syrup most definitely was not where it was the last time I bought it!

I miss our local IGA that turned into a copy machine store UGH!
I loved the size of it and they had great meat, everything was where it was the last time etc. :(

THEY DO IT ON PURPOSE! Our local walmart remodeled a couple of years ago. I used to go in there at least once a week. Now I seldom go more than once a month. They have lost my business.

We relocated the grocery store I used to work in. It was a brand new larger and more user friendly store. Out customers hated it. So did I. No one could find anything. We all got used to it eventually.
