    When talking to a lady about Relay for Life I found out that there are ribbons for different cancers - ribbons are in various colors for each type of cancer see post for list..Thanks cheryl

    Terryl is going to do the farm quilt in different colors in the cancer ribbon stitching.....I think she mentioned that to me.

    Yes :thumbup: I found this out when I had cancer and my color was lime green. The one color I was not to found of. :wink: Now I buy alot of that color, go figure :oops:

    So how are you doing - was the lympthnoma cancer recent

    Yeah, that's how I found out, too. Orange for Leukemia...still not my favorite color!

    I did not know about these. Well, peach is not one of my most used colors, but I do have some... I am just glad to have survived. Maybe someday I will make a ribbon quilt.

    pink isn't my favorite color, either, but have gotten used to it these last 6 years since it has become my color

    I guess with what you and other survivors had to endure wearing or using the color to celebrate your new life is the easy part!! Congrats on your new life!!! Enjoy it (even if you feel like you have to wear pink :lol: )
