The pictures I am posting are from our families visit to Washington, DC. We spent the day reflecting what this country means to us. We payed our respects to all of those who have served this great country of ours with their lives. The city of Washington was filled with the roar of motorcycles. Every year for the past 22 years there is a huge gathering of motorcylists who ride from the Pentagon and circle the mall and ending at the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial. Their goal is to never forget those who are POW/MIA. They appropriately call this "Rolling Thunder".

Thank you so much for posting those pics. I can't believe it's been 22 years! My DH and I and our motorcycle club (at the time from PA) road in the second or third one they had. It was an awesome experience.
Thank you to all the military families and the service and sacrifice they went through for the freedoms we have today.

Washington D. C. is a great place to be. Thanks for the pics of the WW II memorial. They were building it the last time we were there. We are hoping to see it this summer when we are there again.

Thank you to all our Military, past and present. These brave people are why we enjoy the Freddom we have today. I hope we never forget them.
