I took these two pictures from my front door this morning of the Atlas 5 rocket that was launched fro Cape Canaveral today.It is a next generation military communications satellite for our military.It was from the united States airforce station in Cape Canaveral.

Oh my. We use to watch that site when I lived in Cocoa and Melbourne. The earth would rumble. Thanks for sharing. Great memory.

my 11 yr.old granddaughter would love it. She is wanting to be an aeronautical engineer, pilot, astronaut when she grows up.

I remember watching the rockets launch on TV. It was so cool.

Wow-how neat to see that out your back door! Have you seen any night launches? My boss took a pic of a night launch and it was beautiful-would love to see either a day or night launch some day in person.

I haven't seen any night launches,but this is the third day launch that I have seen since I moved here a little over a year ago.I bet it would be neat to see.
